We start with an inspection, checking moisture readings at the baseboard and up the wall, and looking for the entry point, not just the mold. Treating a wall without finding the leak means the problem is likely to return.
Once we know what we're dealing with, we apply the VaPURE treatment: a sterilant first, then an antimicrobial protectant. Both steps treat mold on the wall surface and in the air of the room, and the protectant step helps the surface resist regrowth once the moisture source is fixed.
Most homes need little to no demolition. If mold has only reached the paint and the top layer of drywall, VaPURE treatment usually reaches it without cutting the wall open. If water damage has gone deeper, we'll tell you plainly what needs to come out and why, rather than removing more than the job calls for.
A typical wall treatment is usually completed in one day. We'll also talk through the moisture source with you before we start, since treatment without a fix is only a temporary win.
